Threading |
| |
|
This is an ancient method of hair removal, utilising a piece of fine white cotton thread. The thread is twisted and used to remove the hairs from the follicles, like tweezing only it’s much quicker. It is more gentle than waxing which can leave scabs, especially on the eye area. Threading is ideal for small areas such as eyebrows, upper lip and chin. It is possible to thread the entire face and neck. Some people find threading painful, others don’t, it all depends on your pain threshold. It is advisable to have threading treatments done every 10-14 days, especially the eyebrows which can quickly grow out of shape. Threading is an Eastern thing which is now very popular in the west. |
